Meet the designer.

When I was a kid, around 8 years old, I dreamt of becoming an architect. Drafting was my favorite course in school. As I grew older it was obvious I wasn’t built for textbooks or institutions and my young adult life took its path down a carefree vagabond lifestyle. I discovered sewing in my early 20’s in the Haight Ashbury of San Francisco where I made custom clothing for clients. This is when I fell hard for tailoring and taught myself every way to achieve a perfect fit, carefully drafting my own patterns and creating comfortable but structured garments using hemp and other natural fibers. 25 years later, I’m still as much in love with creating sustainable tailored fashion as the day I started. There is always something to stay curious about in garment design and living a life of innovation and creativity has been my heartbeat that I am so grateful to have discovered. I hope you enjoy my work and feel as much joy wearing my pieces as I feel creating them.
